Gli NME Awards sono i premi per la musica conferiti annualmente dalla rivista musicale NME, nati in principio come alternativa competitiva ai Brit awards. Quest’anno hanno la rivista ha premiato svariati artisti ma quelli che hanno portato a casa più statuette sono stati sicuramente gli Arctic Monkeys. Il gruppo di Sheffield, infatti ha…

…vinto ben cinque riconoscimenti: “Best British band”, “Best album”, “Best live band”, “Best fan community” con il frontman Alex Turner che ha conquistato l’ “Hero of the year”.

Il tanto atteso “Award For Innovation” è andato a Damon Albarn mentre il “Villain Of The Year” ad Harry Styles. Ecco a voi la lista completa dei vincitori:
